What is the point of this idiotic closed primary system built up by the two parties if they are going to stack endorsements in favor of a candidate who isn't even sure she will be running yet because Deutch hasn't won his race yet??

The closed primary system was supposedly created to take decisions out of "party bosses" hands and put them into the hands of the voters, exclusively the ones registered with either party, but it seems the party bosses now are these "endorsers", the clubs, politicians, and others who influence the money game.

The closed primary system is a joke. People who are not registered as either Republican or Democrat have to pay for those parties' primaries, thats 2 million people in Florida taxed and unrepresented. In the meantime egotistical club puppets and politicians are undermining the very idiotic two party closed primary system they created.

Clearly its ELECTORAL REFORM that is needed, not Maria Sachs!

Maria is good but Deutch's staff is so much better. They don't like Laxer I think because she can think on her own. We know the Palm Beach Democrats don't like those that can think...if they only had a brain. Where are the Independents with a brain????

Not a smart woman at all. Very crazy. Pretty stupid for both of the congressman to endorse her. One going down and the other is next. I guess its true they all go down at once. She is nice but dumb as hell. Isn't she a Republican?

The laws she passed are the best bills...read them. If you ask anyone that knows her or has heard her speak..she is a nut job. Just talk to her staff.

The idea that an "endorsement" from another incumbent should mean anything in the stagnant two party system is ludicrous. We must understand who it is thats really endorsing candidates like Rep. Sachs, and who also supports those endorsing her. These so called "Democratic" clubs who won't even give any other candidates a chance to speak at a microphone are endorsing this s ubtlecorruption.

Just look at her contribution records for the 2010 election:

$500 from US Sugar
$500 from Palm Beach Kennel Club
$500 from FPL
$500 from TECO Energy
$500 from Dosbal Tobacco
$1000 combined from lobbyist Ron Book and his practice

See for yourself: http://election.dos.state.fl.us/campaign-finance/contrib.asp

Thats just a few. Only 3 contributions of the 26 reported thus far are from individuals, two of them lobbyists. The rest are from business interest PACs and one from the overly naive Florida Education Association PAC.

Now ask yourself how many of these same contributors invest in other candidates from either of our two pathetic “major” parties.

Unfortunately, Maria Sachs is a conventional candidate and not a change agent, those stacking the endorsements aren't making themselves look any better. Those who want progress should encourage a competitive primary and general election.
