Again, I read about this crazy story at somebodyshouldask.com and decided to come here and give my opinion. I think we are going down a slippery slope with this. Crist could apologize without moving the date. Moving the date shows that religion takes first place over the government. That is not right.

Yet another sophomoric effort by the Post. Questionable grammar, questionable logic, and biased writing in support of their favorite candidate- Ted Deutch- who had nothing to do with bringing the matter to Governor Crist’s attention, but nonetheless gets the plugs and kudos from the Post’s cheerleaders. Nice job guys!

good from the beginning. He lied by saying he lived in Fla-yeh right!Then he
wanted out to pursue other interests.
He should pay for the re-election-he
owes it to the people of Palm Beach
County. Choo Choo Charlie wants to show
he is a caring Politician-so he changes
the date to vote. I thought that I read
that Choo Choo’s wife is Jewish. Don’t
you think she should have let him in on
that-no good for Passover week?Than you

The writer says Crist moved the election ahead, which would mean sooner. He actually moved it BACK.

Perhaps the man making the biggest noise and seeking the attention for changing the date, wasn’t the only man to make this an issue, just the one seeking applause for doing something anyone with any moral compass would do.

That said, the date has been changed and an oversight rectified.

The post has outdone itself again. The Sun Sentinel gave credit where credit is due to Edward Lynch for bringing the issue up when no one else would.

This was entirely due to Republican candidate Edward Lynch’s work on the issue. It was only after his meeting with Gov. Christ on Monday of this week that the date was agreed to be changed. Mr. Lynch originally brought up the issue nearly three weeks ago to both the Gov. and the media (the Post included).

I would note State Sen. Ted Deutch, who is Jewish, has made no comment on the issue. Way to go on supporting the Jewish people in your district Ted.
