Charlie Crist needs to figure out a way to undo a hug

by Michael C. Bender | November 11th, 2009

From Post columnist Frank Cerabino:

Crist just needs to say that he was going rogue that day, conducting his own “Operation Undercover Patriot.”

It wasn’t a hug. It was merely a clever way to get close enough to the president to pick his pocket, in hopes that Obama carried his “real” birth certificate — the one from Kenya.

“I was after a package that day, but it had nothing to do with the stimulus,” Crist could say. “I have that kind of suspicion of Obama in my soul.”

Maybe a photo of him and a young male Page, that would fit better into the republicant ideal.

How about Charlie and his romantic embrace of Scott Rothstein? You know, the photograph of the two of them with the love note, “Scott — you’re amazing! Charlie Crist.”

So Charlie Crist was after Obama’s package? The one bulging in his pants

  6. V Says:

Oh yeah. God forbid that a republican would actually get along with a democrat. If that were the case, something might actually get done to improve things. Then what would the talking heads out there do for material.

Frank — when did you stop being a journalist? I can’t remember the last time you strung together 5 words that didn’t have hatred and vitriole for the tea partiers or Republicans. Are you insinuating that the Governor is gay with that “package” reference? That doesn’t sound very PC — as if Obama doesn’t make a thrill run up your leg, either. Hang it up, you hack.
