If Gelber supports this group, then they are for the State and not the citizens of Florida.
No more statists in government. Identify and route them all out. More often then not, their actions are subversive and contrary to what is good for the civil society.
Socialism in ANY form is immoral and EVIL.

Great. So we’ll have Gelber refusing to prosecute gay pedophiles, of which there are many, for political reasons.
Equality Florida is a dangerous organization. No better than NAMBLA, which wants age consent laws repealed.

Equality Florida and its national network of organizations is not simply seeking government and school systems to recognize and accept GLBT lifestlyles. They are pushing for government at all levels and school systems to endorse and promote GLBT lifestyles and their political agenda.
It would be dangerous for our children to have an AG who is influenced by and who will carry forward the doctrine of Equality Florida.

Whether Dan Gelber is the right man or not–I could not leave this page without commenting.
GLBT people are not looking to “promote” our lifestyles. We are simply seeking equal rights under the law. I don’t expect anyone to “approve” of what I do anymore than I approve of what all other adults do.
Although I don’t approve of smoking, cheating lying, drug use, criminal activity, etc, people who engage in those activities have the right to marry, the right to visit their spouses, adopt and share in the benefits of a legal union. I just want the same rights
As a parent who happens to be a lesbian, I reared a highly accomplished, beautiful daughter who is now a young woman making her way successfully in the world. She is heterosexual, loving, smart and funny and she loves her moms. I never suggested that she “try being gay”. She did not have some wild liberal childhood, she will tell you I was the most strict parent she knew and rather conservative. I taught her Sunday school classes and helped implant her moral compass.
So please, if you want to argue about the merits of Mr Gelber, do that on his merit as a candidate, what are his views, what will he do for the state? Being endorsed by a group means nothing–let’s get the debate back to what matters. How do we all work together to make America better for our children?

Baloney, GLBT groups exist to promote Statism and force their values onto Americans in order to mainstream their culture. This is right out of Stalin’s playbook of the 1920s.
A homosexual couple can have the same rights as a married man and woman. The process for putting them place is different.
