Crist will be in Palm Beach on Friday, but won’t debate Rubio
by Michael C. Bender | July 9th, 2009
Republican Gov. Charlie Crist said he will indeed attend the Florida Press Association/Florida Society of Newspaper Editors convention tomorrow in Palm Beach – but only for the awards luncheon. (His special counsel on open government, Pat Gleason, is being honored.)
Crist, however, will not stick around for the afternoon to appear with his U.S. Senate primary opponent Marco Rubio at the groups’ afternoon Q&A for statewide candidates.
Asked when he would debate Rubio, Crist today said, “I have no idea.”

I see that choo choo Charlie thinks he
is a shoo-in. He thinks he’s so important that he doesn’t have to stick
around with the other guy(Marco Rubio)
to discuss issues. Well, I guess he doesn’t have to because he has Republican backing and enough in the
bank. I hope he doesn’t overestimate
his so called importance. As for staying
in Palm Beach the quicker he gets out-the better for us. Go work on your tan
Charlie.

Shucking Chuckles quote of the day: “I have no idea.”
He says this about Sarah Palin’s resignation and future political career.
He says this about when he’ll appear with (against) Super Mario on a public stage. Where I come from we call this dodgy behavior ‘chicken$^*!’.
But what else should we Chuckles to say? “I have no clue”?
Yep, that would be better. More honest at least!

Again, Charlie Crist is afraid to debate Marco Rubio! Sooner or later Charlie… Your gonna have to come out of the “CLOSET” and debate your opponent!
