Emily’s List endorses Sink for governor

by Michael C. Bender | June 26th, 2009

alexsinkEMILY’s List, which bills itself as the nation’s largest financial resource for women candidates, endorsed Democrat Alex Sink today for governor:

“Florida is ready for a fresh start, and there is no better candidate for the job than Alex Sink. A proven leader and advocate for Florida families, Sink is extremely qualified to serve as Florida’s chief executive,” said Ellen R. Malcolm, president of EMILY’s List. “Demanding accountability in state government, Alex has earned a strong reputation as a watchdog for Florida consumers and taxpayers. Her vast experience and business acumen make her an ideal candidate for governor during these challenging economic times. EMILY’s List looks forward to helping to elect Alex Sink as Florida’s first woman governor.”

  1. KilroyFSU Says:

Since EMILY’s List is merely a PAC to “support women candidates”, how much did they give to Sarah Palin or Michelle Bachmann? Or is the Post purposefully obfuscating the REAL purpose of EMILY’s List, which is to elect as many radical pro-death politicians as they can to ensure that women always have the “right” to kill their own unborn children.

Alex Sink, can’t even do her job of CFO correctly, what makes me think she can be Governor? I was supposed to get money back from her department because it was unclaimed property. I filed the request 6 months ago to this day, have to still not received the check. If this is the bureaucracy she is going to bring to the table, then please, don’t vote for her.
