Gov. Crist took three tries to pass The Florida Bar exam. He sounds like a good lawyer to review someone else’s legal qualifications.

I’ll be interested to hear the feedback from Gov. Crist. I am a lifetime Republican who is moving towards the Independent Party. I am so sick of partisan politics. This women looks to me to be highly qualified and if the republicans want to play dirty it will move me even faster out of the party.

I would hope that the Governor of the 4 most populous state would be a little more engaged than “I’ll reserve judgment until later.” Hiding behind the People for the last year; why can’t he seem to have an opinion on anything?!!!

I see that you don’t have the guts to leave your full name. I am fed up with radicals from both the Democratic and Republican parties that don’t even try to evaluate a nomination of the opposing party. It is automatic that they say that the nominated is rejected. I suppose that you think that McCain is not a good Republican also since he has been honest enough to always look at the merit of the proposal and try to decide what is best for the American people. It is why we have lost everywhere. Think about it.

If you were a true “lifelong” Republican you would be interested in examining the record of any nominee to the highest court in the land by a Democratic president. However, since you are not really a lifelong Republican and just a liberal computer jockey, I’m not too worried that we are actually losing anyone from our team. I’m perplexed as to how the Republicans will “play dirty” when they are in the minority and cannot filibuster her. It is amazing how a “lifelong” Republican forgot about the treatment received by Judges Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas and Miguel Estrada at the hands of Democrats. Politics is rough and not for the weak hearted. It is a battle over ideas and the fate of a nation. If you thing that is partisan, of course it is and should remain that way. Playing rough is not always dirty and anyone with an understanding of the history of the process would understand that.
