Can Bob Graham’s notebooks end Nancy Pelosi’s agony?

Former U.S. Sen Bob Graham in the Huffington Post:

“When this issue started to resurface I called the appropriate people in the agency and said I would like to know the dates from your records that briefings were held,” Graham recalled.

“And they contacted me and gave me four dates — two in April ’02 and two in September ’02. Now, one of the things I do, and for which I have taken some flack, is keep a spiral notebook of what I do throughout the day. And so I went through my records and through a combination of my daily schedule, which I keep, and my notebooks, I confirmed and the CIA agreed that my notes were accurate; that three of those four dates there had been no briefing. There was only one day that I had been briefed, which was September the 27th of 2002.”

  1. Ray Homan Says:

The support would be more impressive if it were not from another politician. For them, lying (or as they would probably say selective rendering of the facts) is like breathing. Bob Graham has always been anti-CIA and so he remains.

A daily calender of events or diary is admissible as evidence.Didn’t this article say the agency agreed with Mr Graham’s daily posts?
    What is at issue here?
The politicization of an agency that should NOT have any political influence at all.
Do not forget that Rove as well as the Bush family has deep long standing connections to the CIA.
The agenda that Karl Rove had was to politicize every agency in the federal government,I remember hear back early in Roves first term, operatives talking about particular peoples names past “karls” shop for approval and for one to be accepted it was well known the most important trait was political affiliation.
This “thing” we have right now? This is the chickens coming home to roost.
What this does do though,is put at risk, any person in any position that was placed by the Rove team at risk for being replaced.
The damage done by Bush for allowing such a man lose on our country and liberties and protection is immeasurable.
If the CIA themselves confirm that Bob Grahams notebook is correct,Nancy Pelosi is owed an apology.
