I understand what the president is trying to do by stimulating the economy, bad thing is that the money is not going to the right places. TOO MUCH PORK. With all the billions of dollars paid out to the banks and companies and this latest package, may be the government should of given the citizens the money directly. I would say $500,000 to married couples and maybe $100,000 to single individuals making less then $200,000 or less. Now “we the people” can determine how our tax money will be spent. We can spend the money to pay bills or buy new things. This will save the good companies and stimulate new business and the economy. Also, increasing taxes on those who make more then $250,000 would be a good idea, maybe eliminating write offs.

While, other Post reporters like **JEFF OSTROWSKI and LINDA RAWLS** pounded-the-table for a real estate crash by **MASQUERADING** foreclosure consultants and SELF-PROCLAIMED real estate vulture fund promoters as UNBIASED real estate experts whose totally **FABRICATED real estate HORROR stories** worked to scare away homebuyers! Nice **hatchet job by our own “hometown newspaper” inflicting ecomomic ruin** on it’s readers and adverstisers! When will The Palm Beach Post finally fire it’s last reporter and go quitely OUT OF BUSINESS. Let’s hope it’s real soon.

I love how these republican die hards are hanging onto their failed libertarian views. They would have our country literally turn into Mexico to prove that a few rich white men deserve to not pay tax, have no regulation on the markets, no transportation or energy plan or any plans for the future whatsoever.
Obviously you need a government to be well run. What we have here is a government left a drift by the anti-regulatory movement, yet broken because of falling income, real estate and tax base.
Somebody has to be rational and spend the necessary dollars to reregulate, manage and control our future. This is about being a man or mouse. Charlie Christ has stepped to the plate and backed a plan. The rest of these no nothing florida republican congressman, including the south florida cuban twins need to be removed from office. Don’t vote them in again next time, get rid of them asap, along with Mel Martinez.
